Disability Rights UK and the Lived Experience Alliance would like people with learning disabilities and autistic people to help them with research.
It is about improving the NHS Test and Trace app. It is also about trying to make getting a COVID-19 test more accessible.
They would like your feedback if you are autistic and/or have a learning disability. You can take part whether or not you have had a COVID-19 test.
If you support someone who is autistic and/or has a learning disability, you can also get involved.
This can either be through helping them to take part in the research or to speak to researchers on their behalf.
How will the research work?
They will be doing research by talking to you. This will mean speaking to people on the phone or by video call for no more than one hour.
If you like, you could also send feedback in writing by email. They will then use your feedback and pass it on to the Department of Health and Social Care.
If you want to take part in the research, you can either:
- Fill in this online form: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/getting_a_test
- Email [email protected]. Then, they can arrange to register your interest over the phone
