To coincide with Volunteers Week 2020, we are proud to unveil our new video, which is all about our Citizen Advocacy service! Citizen Advocacy is where a volunteer Citizen Advocate is paired up with an adult with a learning disability. The volunteer helps their advocacy partner to help make their voice heard and speak up about their rights.
The video was funded by a charity bike ride by Peter Arnold, one of our Citizen Advocates. Peter is one of our volunteers who appears in the video! Huge thanks to Peter and all of our other volunteers and advocacy partners for appearing in the video. Thanks also to Tom Clegg for producing the video.
