To celebrate Trustees Week 2023 (6th-12th November), our Chair Peter Gruen has written a few words about what being a Trustee for an independent advocacy charity means to him.
“Trustees are volunteers. They give their time, accumulated experience and expertise freely and willingly. They are not conscripts; far from it! They embrace the causes with which they become associated warmly, with both passion and commitment.
“We are blessed in the Advonet Group to have such a group of individuals. We know we give. However, we also learn and develop ourselves every day – and we are proud to serve.”
