At the start of this month, The Advonet Group retained the Disability Confident Employer award for the next three years. To get the award, we:
- Successfully completed the Disability Confident self-assessment.
- Took all of the core actions to be a Disability Confident employer.
- Offered at least one activity to get the right people for our business and at least one activity to keep and develop our people.
We are one of over 20,000 organisations across the country who have joined the scheme. Find out more about it here: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/disability-confident-campaign
Disabled staff
We have disabled staff working across our advocacy services, inclusion projects and in our Central Services and Senior Management teams. All of them are vital in helping us to ensure everyone we work with is heard.
The Advonet Group strives to be an accessible and inclusive employer. To help do that, we work hard to have reasonable adjustments in place, such as:
- Access to quiet spaces
- Flexible working hours
- Home working
- Support with applying for equipment funded by Access to Work
If you are disabled and are interested in working or volunteering with us, find out more about how we can make it accessible in our Careers section.
