The Out Spoken project is running a new series of self-advocacy workshops, starting this February. They are for LGBTQI+ autistic adults (aged 18+), living in the Leeds area.

This project is run by our CHANGE team and Yorkshire MESMAC. In the workshops, the Out Spoken team’s workshops aim to help you learn more about:

  • Self-advocacy and your rights
  • Groups and people who can support you
  • Resources you can use to help you deal with barriers when you use health and social care services

There will be five workshops in total, starting from Wednesday 23rd February. If you want to join, you must attend all five workshops.

When are the workshops?

The workshops are on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 23rd February
  • Wednesday 2nd March
