As part of the Leeds Virtual Pride event led by Touchstone, Leeds Mind, Community Links and Inspire North, our Leeds Autism AIM team made a video. Called LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent: Our Stories, it features a number of LGBTQ+ adults in Leeds sharing personal stories.
All the participants in the video are also have a neurodivergent condition. These include autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, OCD, ADHD and Tourette’s Syndrome. It also features a summary of the Leeds LGBTQ+ Health Inclusion Project’s work, a project Advonet ran in partnership with CHANGE and Yorkshire MESMAC.

The video was first screened on Friday 8th August at 12 Noon on Leeds Autism AIM’s Facebook page.
