The programme has been amended for Strengthening the City Through Advocacy 2018, our advocacy planning event. We have a few exciting additions to the schedule.
We have added the following to the event’s schedule:
- Fiona Martin from Leeds City Council Adults and Health on using a strengths-based approach to social work and the connections to advocacy
- Cllr Rebecca Charlwood, Leeds City Council Executive Member for Health, Wellbeing and Adults on joining the dots of advocacy in Leeds and unleashing its preventative potential
- Andy Jones, Project Worker at SPACE, talking about a case study in how advocacy training can build capacity
For one of the six discussion groups, we welcome Chapeltown Citizens Advice on board to help run it alongside Leeds Citizens Advice. All six groups’ topics remain the same as before.
