In February, we will be running another Focus Group session. This is for anyone who has used an Advonet Group service or lives in Leeds. The group will focus on housing and self-advocacy and will be led by our Community Advocacy team.
We aim to offer everyone who attends the Focus Group meeting advice and information. It will be presented in a fun, user-friendly and informal way. There will be a short role play at the start of the meeting, which will be presented to the group.
Please note however that all those who are attending the meeting will not be expected and/or required to participate, e.g. speak or perform as part of the role play. Comments will of course be welcomed from everyone should you wish to do so.
BSL interpreter available
To help make the group more accessible, we will have a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter at the meeting. This is for any Deaf people who want to take part in the Focus Group.
We will be meeting in a venue that has step-free access and accessible toilets nearby. If you would like to join the group and have any accessibility needs, please email us at [email protected] and we will be in touch.
When is the meeting?
The Focus Group will meet on Wednesday 1st February from 11am to 1pm. It will be in the Community Room on the 4th floor of John Lewis in Leeds City Centre. The address is:
