This year, Forum Central and the William Merritt Disabled Living Centre are running four days’ worth of online events to mark the International Day of Disabled People.
This is called #LeedsForAll. As part of that, some of our teams are putting on events led by and run for disabled people.
These events will take place between Tuesday 1st December and Friday 4th December 2020.

Colouring-in activity

Our Asking You! and CHANGE teams are running a colouring-in activity. They have used a couple of images created by CHANGE’s Accessible Information team.
If you want to join in, please download the images by clicking on the buttons below. Then, print them off and colour them in as best as you can. We will be sharing entries on Asking You’s Twitter page.
Please share your brilliant art, email [email protected], or you can Tweet a picture and tag us at @askingyouleeds.

Asking You! videos

A couple of videos about the work done by Asking You! will be shown on Forum Central’s YouTube channel. The first one is about what our volunteer Citizen Advocates do. The second is about the Leeds Learning Disability People’s Parliament.
Once they have been uploaded, we will add them to a playlist on the Advonet Group YouTube channel.

CHANGE’s online quiz

Dominique and Shaun from the CHANGE team are running an online quiz on Zoom. It is based on the Help Hub they run with Leep1 and is a taster session of their workshops on friendships, relationships and sexuality.
The quiz is on Friday 4th December 2020. It will start at 11:30am. It will finish at 12:30pm.
It will be held on Zoom. To join, please email Dominique at [email protected]. Then, she will send you details of how to join in.
