A free event next month will review the feedback collected by the Restraint, Seclusion and Segregation (RSS) Project from people who have experienced RSS and their carers. The project, led by Advonet and CHANGE, ran questionnaires and collected feedback on people’s experiences of RSS and their suggestions for how to improve the treatment of patients in health and care settings.
The event aims to:

  • Show what people have said about RSS anonymously
  • Identify themes from the feedback
  • Send that feedback to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and parts of the NHS to ensure that changes are made based on that feedback

It is open to people who have experienced restraint, seclusion and segregation in health and care settings and their parents/carers. It is open to people who live anywhere in England.

When and where?

The event is on Thursday 12th December and will run from 1:15pm-4:15pm. Tea and coffee will be provided. It will be at the Leeds Playhouse, which is at this address:
