This summer, one of our volunteer Citizen Advocates took on a gruelling bike ride in France to help raise funds for Advonet. Peter Arnold, who has been a Citizen Advocate for over eight years, took on the Paris-Brest-Paris bike ride, covering 1,230 km (764.3 miles) in 90 hours.
Peter’s race has raised a significant amount of money for us – £1,285.30 at the time of writing! The funds raised will go towards producing a video about Advonet’s Citizen Advocacy service, which will be on the website within the next few months.
Thanks ever so much, Peter, for all of your efforts in doing such a taxing bike ride and for fundraising for us. We really appreciate all that you do for us, as a fundraiser and as a long-standing volunteer.
