For the upcoming festive period, some of our services will be closed on certain dates, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. In this news post, we have details for each service of which dates they will be closed for.
The Advonet Group – Advocacy services
Our office will be closed on the following dates:
- Wednesday 25th December (Christmas Day)
- Thursday 26th December (Boxing Day)
- Wednesday 1st January 2025 (New Year’s Day)
As normal, we will be closed during weekends. On some of the surrounding dates e.g. Christmas Eve, we will be open. However, waiting times for a response via email or phone may be longer than usual due to reduced numbers of staff being available on those dates.
Our Community Advocacy Hubs will not be running for two weeks from Monday 23rd December 2024. They will be back open as normal from Tuesday 7th January 2025.
Leep1 and Café Leep
Café Leep will be closed from Monday 23rd December 2024 to Friday 3rd January 2025. It will be back open as normal from Monday 6th January 2025.
Leep1 will also be closed on those dates.
Leeds Autism AIM
The Leeds Autism AIM service’s last drop-in Autism Hub session before Christmas will be on Tuesday 10th December 2024. The next drop-in after that will be on Tuesday 14th January 2025.
They will not be running any appointment-only Hub sessions between Monday 23rd December 2024 and Friday 3rd January 2025. The Hubs will be back up and running from Tuesday 7th January 2025.

Bradford and Craven Autism AIM
This service, working with autistic adults in the Bradford and Craven area, will not be holding one-to-one appointments between Monday 23rd December 2024 and Friday 3rd January 2025.
It will be running as normal from Monday 6th January 2025 onwards. Further information about the service’s availability during this time of year is here.
Autism AIM – Mental Health Equity Project
The Autism AIM – Mental Health Equity Project team’s in-person and online groups for Leeds and Bradford will run as planned in December. For Leeds, the in-person group is on Thursday 5th December 2024 and the online one on Thursday 19th December 2024, both from 6pm-7pm.
In January, there will be no in-person group for Leeds due to it falling during the New Year period. However, their scheduled online group for Thursday 16th January 2025 goes ahead as normal.
Their December online group for Bradford is on Wednesday 4th December 2024 from 6pm-7pm. January’s group will be on Wednesday 8th January 2025 from 6pm-7pm.
Asking You! and CHANGE
Our Asking You! team will not be available during Bank Holidays e.g. Christmas Day. They may be available for email and phone enquiries on other weekdays from Monday 23rd December 2024 and Friday 3rd January 2025.
CHANGE will not be available for enquiries between Monday 23rd-Friday 27th December 2024 or on Wednesday 1st January 2025. They will be available on all other weekdays of the week starting Monday 30th December 2024, though.
Both services will be back open as normal on Monday 6th January 2025.
