In the next couple of months, we will be providing free training sessions for anyone who would like to volunteer with us. This is for roles specific to our Asking You! and Leeds Autism AIM services, including:
- Learning Disability Citizen Advocacy
- Autism Employment Mentor
- Autism Peer Support Volunteer
- Autism Drop-In Hub Volunteer
The training covers working with autistic adults, an introduction to advocacy and working with adults with a learning disability. At the end, there will be an induction session for all new volunteers.
Training offered will depend on each role, but no matter what role you would like to take on, all the above sessions will be free to access. Sessions about autism and learning disability will be co-delivered by members of our staff team with lived experience.

The training sessions are on the following dates:
- Saturday 14th February – Autism Awareness Training
- Monday 16th February – Learning Disability Awareness Training
- Monday 16th February – Introduction to Advocacy
- Saturday 28th February – Autism Peer Support Training
