Our Focus Group is back, starting this month. The next meeting will look at two things – housing and self-advocacy. It aims to show how you can speak up for your rights when trying to access safe, accessible and affordable accommodation in Leeds.

For the group, we will be doing some role play. This will help you to build self-advocacy skills, especially when they might be needed if you have a problem with housing.

Our Community Advocacy team will be leading this session. They will also be there to answer any questions you have about your rights and how to get housing support.

We would really welcome your views on how we do this work. Any ideas or feedback you have will be used to improve our self-advocacy work.
