Our Community Advocacy team are running their latest Winter Wellbeing drop-in from 1-3pm at the Unity Business Centre. They can offer advocacy and information around staying well at this time of year.
The first People’s Parliament meeting of 2019 is on Tuesday from 10am-12:15pm at the St Matthias Centre in Burley. It is the forum for adults with learning disabilities to feed into the Leeds Learning Disability Partnership Board, led by our Asking You! team.
Leeds Autism AIM’s drop-in Hub on Tuesday is hosting its monthly Gaming Group, which moves to the second Tuesday of every month from 5-6:30pm. The group is autistic-led and is open to autistic adults in Leeds.
Finally, Advonet and CHANGE are holding a meeting to plan for a supported decision making course on Friday from 10am-1pm. It will now be at the Ramgarhia Sikh Centre due to high demand. The course is for support workers and the meeting aims to recruit adults with learning disabilities and the people who work them to the course’s steering group.
