- Salary: £22,021 per annum
- Hours: 37.5 hrs p/w, fixed-term for two years

Established in 1998, The Advonet Group is an independent advocacy charity based in Leeds and working in partnership across other regions. The Advonet Group are comprised of statutory and non-statutory advocacy services and specialist services, (Asking You!, CHANGE, Leeds Autism AIM, Leep1 – Leeds People First). All of which ensure individuals voices are heard, their rights upheld and promote the rights of people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about upholding the rights of people to work as a Universal Advocate and join our existing team of advocates already providing this service across Leeds.
You will use your knowledge and proven skills working with and supporting individuals to have a voice to advocate with, and for them. You will be based in one of our advocacy service areas, (Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy, Care Act Advocacy, Independent Mental Health Advocacy, Community and Health Complaints Advocacy). Over time, you will be expected to work across all the advocacy areas as required within the Universal Advocacy model.
You need to be willing to work towards achieving the Independent Advocacy Qualification (IAQ).
