LGBTQ+ self-advocacy workshops confirmed for autumn/winter 2019-20
Two new sets of free self-advocacy workshops run by the LGBTQ+ Health Inclusion Project have been set for autumn and winter 2019-20. One set is for LGBTQ+ adults in Leeds who have mental health difficulties. The other is for LGBTQ+ autistic adults in Leeds.
The courses both aim to help you:
- Learn skills to help you speak up about your rights
- Help you to get involved in the health services you use
Both will run over seven weeks. If you want to book on either course, you must attend all sessions. Here are the dates for each course:
Self-advocacy for LGBTQ+ people with mental health difficulties
- Tuesday 8th October

All workshops run from 6pm to 8pm.
Self-advocacy for LGBTQ+ autistic people

- Tuesday 14th January 2020
- Tuesday 21st January 2020
- Tuesday 28th January 2020
- Tuesday 5th February 2020
All workshops run from 6pm to 8pm.
