Safeguarding Feedback Project
The Safeguarding Feedback Project is about using people’s experience of the safeguarding process to make it better for those who need safeguarding in future. It is led by Advonet, with the backing of the Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board.
What does the project do?
The project aims to gather feedback from people who have been under safeguarding about their experience. It will use the feedback given to tell the Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board about what can be done to make it better.
The project will be led by a Citizens Panel, made up of people with lived experience of safeguarding. It also welcomes input from health and social care professionals who have worked with people under safeguarding.
Who is the project for?
The Safeguarding Feedback Project is for:
- People in Leeds who have experience of being under safeguarding
- Parents, carers and partners of people with experience of safeguarding
The project’s work will be steered by a Citizens Panel. This is a group of people with lived experience of safeguarding who will pass on people’s stories and ideas about what can be done better directly to the Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board.
More details about how you can join the Panel and when they will first meet will be released soon.
