Community Advocacy Surgeries

Our Community Advocacy team run a number of surgeries for people who don’t speak English as their first language. They are held in different venues across Leeds. They are staffed by our Community Advocates.

Between them, our Assistant Advocates speak at least a dozen different languages. These include Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, Czech and Russian.

Here is a list of the regular surgeries that we run:

Tuesday 9am-12pm Appointments Working with Leeds City Council Gypsy Roma Traveller Group (GRTG). Languages available are Czech and Slovak

Appointments will be provided if the issue is not resolved during the surgery time

Tuesday 1pm-4pm 1pm-2:30pm – Drop-in
2:30pm-4pm – Appointments
Languages available are Mirpuri, Urdu, Czech, Slovak, Kurdish

Appointments will be provided if the issue is not resolved during the surgery time

Hamara Healthy Living Centre,Tempest Road, Leeds LS11 6RD
Wednesday 10am-12pm Drop-in Takes place at the Leeds Refugee Forum. Languages available are Arabic, Afrikaans, Arabic, Dutch, Tigrinya and Kaga

Appointments will be provided if the issue is not resolved during the surgery time
