COVID-19 latest

On this page, you will find all the latest information on the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19), how it affects the Advonet Group services in Leeds and what support and information is available for you during this difficult time.

We remain committed to providing an excellent free advocacy service for people in Leeds who need help to make their voice heard.

How we can support you remotely

We continue to provide one-to-one advocacy support:

  • Via email
  • Over the phone
  • Via instant messaging/text chat
  • Via video call
We are also now providing limited face-to-face advocacy where there is a need and where it is safe to do so.
We have expanded our self-advocacy resources during this period. You can download them all on our Self-Advocacy page.

Our Leeds Autism AIM team continue to offer online advocacy, peer support, groups and post-diagnostic support for newly-diagnosed autistic adults. They have expanded their COVID-19 toolkit in September 2020 to include new guides and resources.

Our Leep1 team have expanded their online groups with increased digital inclusion workshops through “The Help Hub” and have begun face-to-face work in small support bubbles.  Members have access to a closed Facebook page.

You can continue to make a referral online for Care Act Advocacy, Community Advocacy, Health Complaints Advocacy, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) and Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) on our Make a Referral page.

If you have any questions, please email us at or call 0113 244 0606 and leave a message.
