Free event to launch LGBTQ+ Health Inclusion Project
The new LGBTQ+ Health Inclusion Project, run by Advonet, CHANGE and Yorkshire MESMAC and funded by the Government Equalities Office, is to hold a free launch event next month. The project is for LGBTQ+ people in Leeds who are either autistic, have a learning disability or mental health difficulties.
At the event, we will go into detail about what the project does, including:
- Self-advocacy workshops
- Peer support
- Co-delivered training for health professionals
The project will be co-led by LGBTQ+ people who are autistic, have a learning disability or mental health difficulties who live locally. They will also be involved in running the workshops and training for professionals.
