  • Hours: 37.5 hrs p/w, fixed term for 18 months

The Advonet Group is a growing organisation working with people who are marginalised to raise their voices and have their rights respected.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about upholding the rights of people across Leeds to work as a Community Advocacy Development Coordinator within our Community Advocacy service.

You will be pivotal in reaching and engaging under-represented local communities and groups and expanding our advocacy work with members of the Leeds Advocacy Network (LAN). Creating opportunities for them to use an advocacy approach with the people they support and empowering their communities.

This will enable us to extend the reach and scope of advocacy and support even more people to have their voices heard. You will use your coordination and engagement skills to deliver on our exciting Advocacy Development Plan.

You need to have relevant experience in similar type roles and have excellent engagement skills and understanding of advocacy and its different approaches.
